Today, we said goodbye to our wonderful class of 2021. It's been a hugely exciting week, on Monday we had our dress rehearsal for our graduation ceremony. On Tuesday we all had a surprise trip to the playground in Clerihan and had some lovely treats. Wednesday was our big day with our two graduation ceremonies taking place on Zoom, it was so nice to be joined by all our families & friends. On Thursday we had a super surprise with a bouncy castle obstacle course & we had chips, sausages & chicken nuggets for dinner! On Friday, our last day we had our obstacle course again, but also a visit from our community Gda. Claire Murphy who gave us lovely colouring books and allowed us all to try on her hat!
We'll miss you all very much, but know we'll always be friends, best of luck in primary school xxx

👩🎓 Introducing the Class of 2021 👨🎓
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to all our children who graduated from Pre-school this morning, they all loved having their families with them via Zoom. Many thanks to our teachers Andrea, Donna, Ciara F, Emma & Megan who put in a tremendous effort to ensure our children enjoyed their special day. This year we can't do school tours, so part of our tour came to us. Our graduation classes really enjoyed a visit from Nore Valley Pet Farm. As the saying goes "a picture speaks a thousand words." There was smiles all round!
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andrea O' Keeffe as our new Supervisor in Clonmel Childcare. Andrea has been with us for over 6 years, she is currently ECCE room leader in our Ladybird Room. Andrea has an enormous skillset and will be a great addition to our management team along with fellow supervisor Louise Lyon's, Asst. Manager Karen Morrissey & General Manager Darren Ryan. Today’s activity is a nature hunt. This can be done in your garden’s or on your daily walk. This will help children with their knowledge and appreciation of nature as they try find the items on the list and to encourage them to spend some time in some fresh air.
Today’s activity is a paper bowl turtle, the materials needed are- coloured paper or you can paint white paper, scissors, paint, paper bowl,
start by painting the bowl, your child can use green or another colour paint, draw out on coloured paper or the white paper you’ve painted the turtles head , feet and tail and cut them out, glue on the Feet and tail and head when dry , children love painting & glueing so this is a fun activity to do and it’s great for imagination and their fine motor skills. |
