Today’s activity is a simple threading activity! For this all you will need is some thread/string/pipe cleaners and a Colliander (You can also improvise by putting some holes in a container) This activity is good to develop fine motor skills and coordination. It’s also a good activity to help us with learning our colours! Hope ye enjoy!
Today’s activity is a fish bowl, materials needed - coloured paper or you can paint white paper, scissors, paint, cheerios or any type of cereals to make stones, glue, first draw out fish bowl shape, then paint your child’s hand to make the fish and let your child freely paint and glue on the Cheerios or whatever cereal you’ve used to create stones in the fish bowl , all children love painting & glueing so this is a fun activity to do on a wet day like today.
Today we are learning about plants and how we can eat a whole plant😋😋
Attached are sheets that you can print out, then using everyday foods at home, your child can make their own plant. This is a great activity to learn about where our food comes from and healthy eating! When this activity is done, you can get some seeds and compost and plant them in a clear plastic cup and watch them grow 🌱 PS: don’t forget to water it
This is something everyone can do at home and it's really enjoyable and fun.
What is needed:
some flat stones/ rocks
Different colour paints
Rock painting is a fun activity for all.
It helps develop fine motor skills.
It's a great indoor/outdoor activity.
Children love to be creative and this helps them create their own design and pattern. Promotes imagination and creativity, but most off all helps us express ourselves through play.
Hope they all enjoy 🎨
This is a simple activity created by using toy cars, a cardboard box and some tape, this can also be done on a wooden floor or in an outdoor area.
This simple activity is great for children's fine motor skills as the push the cars around the road. This activity also links to aistear as it empowers the children learning of their community and the world around them.
Today’s activity (Wednesday 22nd April) is Water Play, which every child absolutely loves 😉
water play washing toys, all you need is water, a basin some washing up liquid, 2x towels and let your child decide what animals or barbies or cars/blocks they would like to wash, it’s great fun and washing utensils or a paint brush can be used if your child doesn’t like to use their hands.
